Dr. Kathryn Harbun, BSc, ND
Dr. Kathryn Harbun is a naturopathic medical doctor and part of the Livstil Wellness team. At a young age Dr. Harbun was imbued with a deep appreciation for our natural world. From having grown, harvested and preserved her family’s garden produce to spending weekends in the nearby parks, she truly understands the importance of a healthy relationship with the natural world. This deep appreciation inspired a study of holistic approaches to health and has led Dr. Harbun to develop and share this knowledge professionally with her patients. Her aim is to provide the best integrative care for her patients.
Dr. Harbun studied naturopathic medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM) and completed her licensing exams in 2017. For the six years prior to joining Livstil she practiced at Arc Integrated Medicine where she developed a special interest in treating conditions of, or associated with, the dermatological, digestive and immune systems (e.g. IBS, eczema, autoimmunity, metabolic disorders, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia). In addition, she enjoys looking at genetic variations and the human microbiome as part of treatment plans to support overall health and prevent chronic disease. She has worked as a clinical supervisor at the BINM teaching clinic for 2 years, as well as taught classes and courses on various topics at BINM.
