Dr. Sarah Sjovold is the owner and founder of Livstil Wellness clinic, a general family naturopathic medical practice.  Dr. Sjovold’s vision is to use integrative and lifestyle medical approaches with her patients in order to foster lifestyle wellness.  Learn more about Dr. Sjovold.

Throughout her clinical training, Dr. Sjovold had the opportunity to work at the Canadian Naturopathic Medical teaching clinic in Toronto, in addition to working as an intern at the Sherbourne HIV Health Clinic in Toronto.  After graduation in 2004 and completion of her licensing exams in 2005, Dr. Sjovold returned to her home town of Hope, BC to set up a small practice.  In 2008, she relocated and joined the team of practitioners at the Family Health Clinic in Langley, BC where she worked for four and half years alongside Drs. Ted Sleigh and Cathy Carlson-Rink, two highly respected and experienced naturopathic physicians.  She relocated in 2012 and joined the team of practitioners at the Integrated Health Clinic in Fort Langley, BC to further her clinical experience and provide nutritional consultation for patients of the Cancer Care Centre.  In 2019, Dr. Sjovold decided to resume offering Naturopathic services to her home town of Hope on a monthly basis, and in 2020 she opened Livstil Wellness, in Langley.

Clinical Experience

Dr. Kathryn Harbun, BSc, ND

Dr. Kathryn Harbun is a naturopathic medical doctor and part of the Livstil Wellness team. At a young age Dr. Harbun was imbued with a deep appreciation for our natural world. From having grown, harvested and preserved her family’s garden produce to spending weekends in the nearby parks, she truly understands the importance of a healthy relationship with the natural world. This deep appreciation inspired a study of holistic approaches to health and has led Dr. Harbun to develop and share this knowledge professionally with her patients. Her aim is to provide the best integrative care for her patients.

Dr. Harbun studied naturopathic medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM) and completed her licensing exams in 2017. For the six years prior to joining Livstil she practiced at Arc Integrated Medicine where she developed a special interest in treating conditions of, or associated with, the dermatological, digestive and immune systems (e.g. IBS, eczema, autoimmunity, metabolic disorders, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia). Isabela Jaworski, BA, CNP

Isabela Jaworski, BA, CNP (Hons) is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist who believes you can live the most wholesome, vibrant life, with the glow of health! As part of the team at Livstil, she focusses on addressing the root cause of disease by promoting holistic healing through nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle. As a Holistic Nutritionist with a love for healing through the power of food and the natural world, her modalities include functional medicine, energy medicine, (such as homeopathic and muscle testing), and the implementation of ancestral diets. Passionate about health education and lifestyle sustainability, she makes it her mission to help individuals and families learn ways to thrive, and achieve optimal health.

Isabela graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and the University of British Columbia with First Class Honours. On completing her Holistic Nutritionist Certification in 2018, Isabela managed the Student Clinic at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, Vancouver Campus. She started her own private practice, Artisan Nutrition, where she focused on healing through traditional diets, and education on food for healing. With a special interest and passion for recalibrating Autoimmune conditions, Isabela spent the following four years in an advisory role at Atrium Innovations, where she supported and educated health practitioners and their clinics throughout British Columbia. During this time, she deepened her understanding of holistic healing, mentored by Dr. Nigel Plummer on the works of the microbiome, Dr. Michael Adams for organ detoxification via Gemmotherapy, and Dr. Dickson Thom on Homeopathics and Phytoembriotherapy. During this time, Isabela also furthered her dive into Autoimmune conditions by completing the Cogence Immunology platform, led by internationally renowned Immunologist. Dr. Samuel Yanuck. With a redefined approach to the way we look at Autoimmunity and digestive health, Isabela supports her clients through the foremost proven methods and strategies.
